Perfect organization for "Termination without Cause".
Actual dialogue of a former WordPerfect Customer Support employee. (Now
I know why they record these conversations!):
Operator: "Ridge Hall, computer assistance; may I help you?"
Caller: "Yes, well, I'm having trouble with WordPerfect."
Operator: "What sort of trouble??"
Caller: "Well, I was just typing along, and all of a
sudden the words went away."
Operator: "Went away?"
Caller: "They disappeared."
Operator: "Hmm So what does your screen look like now?"
Caller: "Nothing."
Operator: "Nothing??"
Caller: "It's blank; it won't accept anything when I type."
Operator: "Are you still in WordPerfect, or did you get out??"
Caller: "How do I tell?"
Operator: "Can you see the C: prompt on the screen??"
Caller: "What's a sea-prompt?"
Operator: "Never mind, can you move your cursor around the
screen?"
Caller: "There isn't any cursor: I told you, it won't
accept anything I type."
Operator: "Does your monitor have a power indicator??"
Caller: "What's a monitor?"
Operator: "It's the thing with the screen on it that looks like
a TV. Does it have a little light that tells you
when it's on??"
Caller: "I don't know."
Operator: "Well, then look on the back of the monitor and
find where the power cord goes into it. Can you see
that??"
Caller: "Yes, I think so."
Operator: "Great. Follow the cord to the plug, and tell me if
it's plugged into the wall.
Caller: "Yes, it is."
Operator: "When you were behind the monitor, did you notice
that there were two cables plugged into the back of
it, not just one??"
Caller: "No."
Operator: "Well, there are. I need you to look back there
again and find the other cable."
Caller: "Okay, here it is."
Operator: "Follow it for me, and tell me if it's plugged
securely into the back of your computer."
Caller: "I can't reach."
Operator: "Uh huh. Well, can you see if it is??"
Caller: "No."
Operator: "Even if you maybe put your knee on something and
lean way over??"
Caller: "Oh, it's not because I don't have the right
angle - it's because it's dark."
Operator: "Dark??"
Caller: "Yes - the office light is off, and the only
light I have is coming in from the window.
Operator: "Well, turn on the office light then."
Caller: "I can't."
Operator: "No? Why not??"
Caller: "Because there's a power failure."
Operator: "A power......... A power failure? Aha, Okay, we've
got it licked now.Do you still have the boxes and manuals and
packing stuff your computer came in??"
Caller: "Well, yes, I keep them in the closet."
Operator: "Good. Go get them, and unplug your system and pack
it up just like it was when you got it. Then take
it back to the store you bought it from."
Caller: "Really? Is it that bad?"
Operator: "Yes, I'm afraid it is."
Caller: "Well, all right then, I suppose. What do I tell them??"
Operator: "Tell them you're too f*%king stupid to own a computer!!!!!"

I thought this was funny?
There's always one. This has got to be one of the funniest things in a long time. I think this guy should have been promoted, not fired. This is a true story from the Word Perfect Helpline, which was transcribed from a recording monitoring the customer care department. Needless to say the Help Desk employee was fired; however, he/she is currently suing the Word Perfect organization for "Termination without Cause".

Reply:I don't know why the operator would insult her like that;--I've been having the same problem with my computer every time the power goes off.---But I never had to return it to the store, because when the power comes back on, it magically starts working again.---I think it just takes a little patience, and you must pay your electric bill a little more often.
Since I've been paying my bill every other month, I never have that problem anymore.
Baffling isn't it?
Maybe it had something to do with the fact that I changed my hair from blond to brunette.
Hope this helps.

For all Employees Who Work With Rude Customers.
An award should go to the Virgin Airlines gate attendant in Sydney some weeks ago for being smart and funny, while making her point, when confronted with a passenger who probably deserved to fly as cargo. A crowded Virgin flight was cancelled after Virgin's 767s had been withdrawn from service. A single attendant was re-booking a long line of inconvenienced travellers. Suddenly an angry passenger pushed his way to the desk. He slapped his ticket down on the counter and said, "I HAVE to be on this flight and it HAS to be FIRST CLASS".
The attendant replied, "I'm sorry, sir. I'll be happy to try to help you, but I've got to help these people first, and I'm sure we'll be able to work something out." The passenger was unimpressed. He asked loudly, so that the passengers behind him could hear, "DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHO I AM?" Without hesitating, the attendant smiled and grabbed her public address microphone: "May I have your attention please, may I have your attention please," she began - her voice heard clearly throughout the terminal. "We have a passenger here at Gate 14 WHO DOES NOT KNOW WHO HE IS. If anyone can help him find his identity, please come to Gate 14." With the folks behind him in line laughing hysterically, the man glared at the Virgin attendant, gritted his teeth and said, "F... You!" Without flinching, she smiled and said, "I'm sorry sir, but you'll have to fly QANTAS for that service."

There's always one.
This
has got to be one of the funniest things in a
long time. I think this guy should have been promoted, not fired.
This is
a true story from the Word Perfect Helpline, which was transcribed
From a
recording monitoring the customer care department. Needless to say
The
Help Desk employee was fired; however, he/she is currently suing
The Word
Perfect organization for "Termination without Cause".
Actual dialogue of a former WordPerfect Customer Support employee.
(Now I
know why they record these conversations!):
Operator: "Ridge Hall, computer assistance; may I help
You?"
Caller: "Yes, well, I'm having trouble with
WordPerfect."
Operator: "What sort of trouble??"
Caller: "Well, I was just typing along, and all of a
Sudden
the words went away."
Operator: "Went away?"
Caller: "They disappeared."
Operator: "Hmm So what does your screen look like now?"
Caller: "Nothing."
Operator: "Nothing??"
Caller: "It's blank; it won't accept anything when I
Type."
Operator: "Are you still in WordPerfect, or did you get
Out??"
Caller: "How do I tell?"
Operator: "Can you see the C: prompt on the screen??"
Caller: "What's a sea-prompt?"
Operator: "Never mind, can you move your cursor around the
screen?"
Caller: "There isn't any cursor: I told you, it won't
accept
anything I type."
Operator: "Does your monitor have a power indicator??"
Caller: "What's a monitor?"
Operator: "It's the thing with the screen on it that looks
like a
TV. Does it have a little light that tells you when it's on??"
Caller: "I don't know."
Operator: "Well, then look on the back of the monitor and
find
where the power cord goes into it. Can you see that??"
Caller: "Yes, I think so."
Operator: "Great. Follow the cord to the plug, and tell me
if
it's
plugged into the wall.
Caller: "Yes, it is."
Operator: "When you were behind the monitor, did you
notice that
there were two cables plugged into the back of it,
not just one ????
Operator: "Well, there are. I need you to look back there
again
and find the other cable."
Caller: "Okay, here it is."
Operator: "Follow it for me, and tell me if it's plugged
Securely
Into the back of your computer."
Caller: "I can't reach."
Operator: "Uh huh. Well, can you see if it is??"
Caller: "No."
Operator: "Even if you maybe put your knee on something
and lean way over"???
Caller: "Oh, it's not because I don't have the right
Angle -
it's because it's dark."
Operator: "Dark??"
Caller: "Yes - the office light is off, and the only
light
I have is coming in from the window.
" Operator: "Well, turn on the office light then."
Caller: "I can't."
Operator: "No? Why not??"
Caller: "Because there's a power failure."
Operator: "A power......... A power failure? Aha, Okay,
we've got
it licked now.
Do you still have the boxes and manuals and packing stuff your
computer
came in??"
Caller: "Well, yes, I keep them in the closet."
Operator: "Good. Go get them, and unplug your system and pack it
up just like it was when you got it. Then take it back to the
store you
bought it from."
Caller: "Really? Is it that bad?"
Operator: "Yes, I'm afraid it is."
Caller: "Well, all right then, I suppose. What do
I tell
them??"
Operator: "Tell them you're too $*%ing stupid to own a

Are there any best recovery tools/softwares?
in my office system, I have installed AVG anti virus and have scan the entire system. A total of 761 number of files are infected in each drive. all those viruses are automatcally healed and cleaned by AVG. after that the system have asked to restart the system and i have clicked Yes.
after the system restarted, i have entered username and password (there is no password set in my system) and after clicking Ok it is ready to start and after 3 to 4 seconds the system is repeating the same to enter the Uid and Pwd. (note that uid is absolutely correct) and also i have tried in safe mode also. but no use.
so my problem is : i have all my important files in C drive and after that, the operator have formatted the c drive and all the files are lost.
so my question is Is there any software to recover my files?
Are there any best recovery tools/softwares?
I use okoker data recovery. It scans and copies the damaged data portion of your disk and recovers it.
Find the software and other data recovery software available at softwarespack.
I hope this helps.

Which of the following is the region that is the binding site for RNA polymerase?
a. heterogeneous nuclear DNA
b. repressor gene
c. promoter sequence
d. operator sequence
e. all of these
Which of the following is the region that is the binding site for RNA polymerase?
C.
it is the promoter sequence. The promoter contains specific DNA sequences that are recognized by proteins known as transcription factors. These factors bind to the promoter sequences, recruiting RNA polymerase, the enzyme that synthesizes the RNA from the coding region of the gene.
Reply:RNA polymerase binds to the promoter sequence (C).
Other proteins are recruited to the regulatory sequences to regulate when does a gene transcribe.
Reply:Promoter sequence. Hope that helps!
Reply:c
Reply:I am pretty sure 'c' as well
