Prove the sol 24?

Use the numbers 1, 3, 4, 6 and only operators +, -, *, / (Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication or Division) and try to achieve the result of 24.

Rules:

a) You have to use all four numbers

b) You have to use each number only once

c) You can use any of the only four operators, any number of times, (ie., you can use + two times, - 3 times, * five times or only + and - and so on)

d) You cannot use power (to the power of) operator

Try to manipulate them and get 24.

Prove the sol 24?
6/(1-3/4)
Reply:((6! / 4!) - 3!) * 1

I suppose that is cheating.
Reply:Solution:

1 + 3 = 4 * 6 = 24
Reply:it is easy, just have to use your brain a bit^^

i got the answer: it is (4-1)*(6+3)
